This is kind of wierd.
I created a fleet and ad. Only corp members allowed.
So a corpie tried to join by clicking on the fleet boss and selecting join fleet.
Nothing happened.
Tried again.
No joy.
Tried two more times.
I finally got a message on the FC's screen saying that the corpie had rejected my invitation to join due to a timeout, I assume.
The FC didn't send an invitation, just created the ad. ?? |

Edit: Easy fix. I sent an invite and the corpie accepted, but . . . I liked the old way better. it is considered an invitation, when you click on the link it brings up a box that ask them to confirm joining fleet.. It follows the same rules. Generally this happens because they jumped or docked before clicking accept on the window pop up
I'm not sure I understand. The corpie looked at the fleet ad, not a link to it in the chat window. I also don't require approval from the FC for corporate fleets. Usually, they only need to right click on the FC in the fleet window and select 'Join Fleet'. No questions asked.

How do I put ore in the Orca's Fleet Hanger? I don't see an option for the miner to open it. I don't see an option for the Orca pilot to let people use it. ?? |

Several really irritating problems.
Everything was fine when I was in Solitude. I played up there for about 12 hours since the patch. No problems. Then . . .
Problem 1. I JCed back to main and bought an expensive set of implants for my JC. My completion time for Industry V went from 2 days to 17. Well I can live with that.
Problem 2. I was flying a Vigilant in Solitude. Seven targets. About 700 damage per salvo. No problem with launching 5 drones at a time.
Well, I bought a Vigilant in Jita and fitted it the same way.
Guess what I have now?
Max of two targets. Can't launch a single drone. 15 DP per salvo.
I thought, "Oh, well. Just a glitch." So I restarted the client and was able to finish the mission with pretty much normal capabilities.
So I took another mission.
When I started the engagement, same thing. Can't launch ANY drones. Max of 2 targets. 15 DP per salvo.
I'm really not comfortable taking a 300 mil ISK ship out of station with these attributes.

We are investigating into this. The skill effects in some circumstances from a jump via jump clone are not applied correctly. The solution is to simply log off and then back into the game. The skill effects will be correct on logging back in.
This is not true. See my post Above.
Edirt 2. I should have mentioned that the time remaining for Industry Level 5 never changed from 17 days. |

Tharkunn wrote:Just clone jumped on my alt from a +2 implant set with 19 days left on advanced weapon upgrade 5 -- 19 days left --- i jumped into a plus4 (slot 1-5) implants --- now the training time is 22 days 12 hrs? -- so instead of decreasing the training time it has increased it by 3 days 12 hrs. can the devs fix this. I have petitioned this. I will expect all the missing skill points to be returned.
Negative loggin in and out doesnt work, Ive logged out and back in three times -- so your advice is false
I meant to say that it should have been two days. Not 17.
Also, this website seems to be dieing a slow and horrible death.

Hey, Merouk. Not sure what you are saying. Is your stuff working correct? If so, we should all be allowed to change our names to 'Merouk'. :) |

Merouk Baas wrote:No, stuff's broken, the part about being fixed is false. I was just pointing out that they have a typo, it's implants that aren't being applied properly, not skills. Skills are injected already.
I'm sorry, Merouk. I remember you from a long time ago and I trust you. I thought that was what you meant.
However, for me, skills aren't working either. I SHOULD be able to handle 7 targets and 5 T2 drones. I could in Solitude earlier today. Now, in Korama, I can handle 2 targets and 0 drones. DPS is nearly 0.
Now, what does that remind you of? A first day player. :)

Look, CCP, if you are doing something about the jump clone disaster, I think there are several people who like to know.
I, for one, would like to have an idea when I can safely log in again. |

TYVM. I decided to watch Netflix instead.
But I haven't seen any acknowledgement that there is still a problem, from CCP. |

I FIND THIS VERY INTERESTING.
I have been complaining about the JC disaster. Suddenly I find that one of my original posts has been altered.
Original post said my completion time for Industry 5 changed from 2+ days, to 17 days. If you look at it now, it says, to me, that it changed from 19 days, to 19 days.
Now I have to say, that is one possible solution to the problem for CCP, but it is not the one I recommend.
Please help me watch that post. If it changes again, I'd like to know. |

Oberdan Ven'Krue wrote:I use the PC platform.
I don't AFK mine, but sometimes I do need to use the bathroom. It would be nice to leave my ship drilling for a couple of minutes instead of starbase parking him so the 7K bounty rats that use missiles don't blow me up. Which they did once, while I was um, busy in the bathroom. My drones were still partnered in space, drifting aimlessly next to my pod, upon my return and I thought I got ganked. Nope, no gankers. Just a missle pirate with a 7K bounty giggling at me. I killed em easily upon return with another ship and looted my stuff, but then, my auto defenses, set to aggressive and auto-lock, all failed to function. I had to manually do it.
Please look into it. Thanks.
No flak, but, when I have to answer the call of nature, I log the Orca and the mining ship out. After retrieving the drones. It's a pain in the butt, especially since I take water pills for a heart condition, but it's better than a nasty surprise.
